Favorite Bible Verse
James 1:2-4 “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
Will Be Attending
College of the Desert
After graduating from DCA, I will attend COD in order to begin getting my degree as an Elementary school teacher. For one semester during those 2 years I will be studying abroad in England with my DCA classmate and best friend, Haley Duff. After COD, I will be attending CSUSB in order to finish my Elementary Teaching Degree. I hope to become a 3rd grade Elementary teacher. I also hope to begin Special Education programs within Christian schools in order to ensure that all kids, no matter their circumstances, may have the opportunity to grow closer to Christ. Alongside being a teacher, I want to continue to do whatever God calls me to do in order to further His kingdom.
Favorite DCA Memory
I have so many since I attended DCA for 7 years but most of them consisted of: the DC Trip in 8th Grade, all of the high school retreats, the Senior Trip, and being a part of the yearbook team. I will always remember the times that I spent with the people at DCA and I am forever grateful for all of my experiences at DCA.
What will you miss most about DCA?
I will miss a lot of different aspects of DCA, but I will mainly miss being in that environment surrounded by such incredible people who contributed to my experience at DCA.
Was there a DCA teacher or staff member that had a significant impact on your life?
All of the teachers and staff had such an amazing impact on my time at DCA, so it’s hard to pick. However, Mr. Tobin and Mrs. Garrison had a very significant impact on my life. Mr. Tobin, taught me how to explore my artistic and creative side, and never gave up on me. Mrs. Garrison, pushed me to be the best version of myself that I could be and taught me a lot about life.
